Discover Acts
The story of the Book of Acts is the story of Christ forming a new-creation community that is designed to reflect His kingdom on earth. As we embark on Phase 2 of planting Everlight Church we will open the book of Acts as a guide to form us into a community. We will witness God’s plan for the Church form Pentecost to Pismo Beach.
Throughout the narrative of Acts, Luke includes “progress reports” or summary statements that mark the expansion of the Kingdom. These serve as literary seams, dividing the book into distinct scenes with theological significance.
