Great question! We’re meeting at the beach because it’s a beautiful, open, free space that reflects the kind of community we’re building: relational, accessible, and missional. These gatherings are simple and meaningful, focused on Scripture, prayer, and connection. Plus, it’s a great environment for families and a refreshing way to begin something new. We’d love for you to come experience it with us!

Absolutely! We’d love for you to bring your kids to Everlight’s Beach Gatherings. During the Bible study, we’ll have a short lesson and a fun craft prepared just for elementary-aged kids. They are welcome to join, or sit with you! At Everlight, we value families and expect our gatherings to be lively. We see kids as a blessing, not a distraction, so bring the whole family and come be part of these exciting early stages of a new community!

Just bring yourself, your Bible if you have one, something to sit on (like a blanket or beach chair), and anything your kids might need. We’ll have some light refreshments and everything else covered. Come as you are, we’re just excited to see you!

Glad you asked! Dinner happens before the Bible study, and it's one of the ways we practice hospitality and build community. If it's your first time, please don't feel any pressure to bring anything—just come and enjoy. But if you've been joining us regularly, we'd love for you to bring something potluck-style to share. Whether you bring a dish or just yourself, there's always a place at the table for you.

Our plan is to meet at the beach throughout the summer, as long as the weather and daylight allow. Throughout the summer we will prayerfully consider the appropriate timing to transition to a facility on Sunday Mornings. We’ll keep everyone updated if anything changes, but for now, plan on beach gatherings continuing weekly through the summer months.
